Sophie Collé experiments with familiar colors and forms that result in unexpected collectible furniture and objects. After studying Industrial Design at Virginia Tech, a quick stint at a contemporary art museum, and working in high-end residential interior design, she began materializing the numerous designs that filled her sketchbooks. With a deep appreciation for craft, she hand-builds all of her pieces out of her Brooklyn studio. She is forever questioning the relationship humans have with art, design, and furniture.
